CCE offers a range of academic and co-curricular programs. Depending on the program, members way earn course credit or their FWS award, receive an internship or fellowship placement, or make a meaningful difference as a volunteer. Programs are often run in collaboration with other schools, departments, and offices, serving diverse populations across campus.

The McCormick Student Advisory Board (MSAB) is composed of a diverse group of undergraduate engineering student representatives dedicated to representing the McCormick student body, identifying the needs of students, and working with the administration to unify the McCormick community and improve the McCormick experience. As such, MSAB serves as the student government within McCormick, acting as a liaison between other McCormick organizations, as well as with administration.

Through three committees (Project Development, Finance, and External Relations), MSAB has hosted various academic and social events for McCormick students, been directly involved in McCormick student organization funding, and developed strong relationships between students and faculty. Projects that MSAB has focused on in the past include hosting the annual Engineering Week (E-Week), a week-long celebration of engineering students with exciting events and free giveaways, as well as other quarterly social events.

We are committed to preparing students for careers in sports television, sideline reporting, and live event production by providing them with opportunities to report from the sidelines at Northwestern sports games, anchor our studio show, edit highlights, and serve in production roles. Through coverage of Northwestern sporting events and our weekly show, we hope to provide Northwestern fans with the most up-to-date coverage of all of their favorite Wildcat teams. Our alumni have gone on to work at ESPN, NBC Sports, Sports Illustrated, Big Ten Network, MLB, Pro Football Focus, the Chicago Cubs, the San Diego Padres, the PGA Tour, and WWE, along with many local news stations around the country.

Northwestern Recreation provides a variety of recreation, fitness, and sport activities designed to foster individual development, enrich university life, and engage the University community in positive lifestyle choices.
